Badgers take the Kili Cup semifinal
A gritty 15–12 win over the Moshi Mavericks books our place in the regional final.
Read report →We are the Arusha Honey Badgers — fearless on the field, grounded in the Spirit of the Game. A self-refereed sport built on respect, played hard and played fair beneath Kilimanjaro's skies.
Founded in 2014, the Honey Badgers grew from a handful of friends throwing a disc on the grass fields of Arusha into Arusha's most active Ultimate Frisbee community. We train together, travel together, and welcome anyone ready to run.
Ultimate has no referees. Players call their own fouls. That honesty on the field is who we are off it — competitive, respectful, and relentless. Just like our namesake.
Fast breaks, faster minds. Fitness and flow at the core of our game.
Self-refereed integrity. We compete hard and shake hands harder.
Open to all — beginners, veterans, and everyone in between.
Youth camps and school programs growing the sport across Tanzania.

A club built on grit, spirit, and the belief that Ultimate belongs to everyone in Arusha.
It started in 2014 with one disc and a WhatsApp group. A mixed crew of students, expats, and locals began meeting on weekends to throw. Word spread, numbers grew, and by 2021 the Honey Badgers were the beating heart of Tanzanian Ultimate — hosting tournaments, sending squads to Dar es Salaam and Nairobi, and building a youth pipeline through local schools.
Ultimate is a fast, non-contact team sport played with a flying disc. Two teams of seven score by catching the disc in the opposing end zone. There are no referees — players officiate themselves under the "Spirit of the Game," a code of mutual respect that makes honesty part of winning. It rewards speed, reading the field, and clean throws.
To grow Ultimate Frisbee across Northern Tanzania by making the sport accessible, competitive, and welcoming — on and off the field.
To be East Africa's most respected Ultimate club — a home where players of every background rise together through the Spirit of the Game.
We call our own fouls. Honesty isn't optional — it's the game.
Full pace, every point. We leave nothing on the field.
Every player has a place, regardless of skill or background.
We coach, mentor, and grow the next generation of players.
